Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
- You will be able to access all areas of this Website without registering your details with us
- We may revise these terms and conditions at any time by updating this posting. You should check this website from time to time to review then then current terms and conditions, because they are binding on you. Certain provision of these terms and conditions may be superseded by expressly designated legal notices or terms located on particular pages of this website.
2. Ordering from us
- You are deemed to place an order with us by ordering via our online checkout process. As part of our checkout process you will be given the opportunity to check your order and to correct any errors. We will send you an order acknowledgement, detailing the products you have ordered
- Our acceptance of an order takes place when we despatch the order. We will send you a despatch confirmation by email. When we despatch the order the purchase contract will be made even if your payment has been processed immediately, unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled your order
- We may refuse to accept an order:
i) where goods are not available;
ii) where we cannot obtain authorization for your payment;
iii) where there has been a pricing or product description error; or
iv) where you do not meet any eligibility criteria set out in our terms and conditions
- Orders are accepted at our sole discretion and we maintain the right to decline orders without giving an explanation
3. Pricing
- All prices exclude import duty, excise duty, import VAT, and clearance fees; or any other fees same in nature but different in name.
- All prices include free shipping to the destination and free insurance that covers the purchase value of the product shipped
- Our prices are reviewed periodically and are therefore subject to change without notice
- All prices are in Great Britain sterling
- Credit / debit card transactions for orders outside the UK will be converted by the card company at their current exchange rates
4. Cancellation and returns policy
- If you wish to cancel your order you can notify us by email to sales@solarmio.com before we have dispatched the goods to you. Notification is recognized as received when it arrives in the mailbox of the mentioned email address during office hours (Monday-Friday 9:00-17:00 local Taiwan time)
- You can return goods you have ordered from the SolarFocus WebStore for any reason at any time within 7 days of receipt for a full refund or exchange. The costs of returning goods to us shall be borne by you.
- Upon receipt of the goods we will give you a full refund of the amount paid or an exchange credit as required, notification by email
- the rights to return the goods to us as referred to clause Section 4.II does not apply in the following circumstance:
i) in the event that the product has been used or is returned in an un-saleable condition
ii) in the case of software, audio, or visual products, where the packaging has been unsealed
- You may also return goods you have ordered from us in accordance with Section 7. Warranty
5. Shipping and Delivery
- Free Shipping
- Estimated delivery time based on seller's handling time, shipping service selected and when seller receives cleared payment. Seller is not responsible for shipping service transit time. Transit times may vary during peak periods.
- Item usually dispatched for shipping within 1-2 business days after payment is received
- Shipping via Taiwan Post EMS (Express Mail Service) with online tracking available for the buyer
- Tracking information is emailed to buyer either on the same day or next business day after shipment sent
- Estimated delivery time is 7-10 days after seller receives cleared payment
- There may be import duty, excise duty, import tax, and clearance fees payable on collection, depending on the collector's residing country and location, which is at the buyer's own responsibility to pay for
6. Payment
- Immediate payment is required via the SolarFocus WebStore
- Paypal account users as well as non-Paypal account users paying via credit/ debit cards are all welcome
7. Warranty
- If the charger controller fails to function within 1 year of purchase, or if SolarFocus solar panel is defective within 3 years of purchase, we will, at our discretion, repair or replace the same solar panel free of charge on conditions that:
1) The complete unit is returned to the Taipei Head Office
2) The original invoice or sales receipt is presented together with the defective unit,
3) The unit has not been serviced, maintained, repaired, taken apart or tampered with by an person that is not authorized by the manufacturer
- Service charge will be required if the damage is caused by misuse or neglect
- Buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs
8. Service Access
- While we endeavor to ensure that this website is normally available 24 hours a day, we will not be liable if for any reason this website is unavailable at any time or for any period
- Access to this website may be suspended temporarily and without notice in the case of system failure, maintenance or repair or for reasons beyond our control
